Thomas Matthew Harper (known as Dr. Matt by his patients) was born in Abilene, Texas. He met his wife, Tatjana, while attending the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Harper attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Matt and Tatjana worked with several great chiropractors in Arizona following graduation before moving to Texas to start their business and their family. In 2006, Matt and Tatjana's daughter, Brooklyn, was born. They loved the family-friendly community of Avery Ranch, and opened Avery Ranch Chiropractic in 2007. Dr. Matt devotes his weekends to his family and to his church. He enjoys bodybuilding, hunting and fishing. He was the overall and middleweight champion of the Capitol of Texas national bodybuilding show in 2008. As a result of this championship and his chiropractic clinical expertise Dr. Matt was the official News 8 Austin Sports Doc for 2008 and 2009.
